What is glucosamine?
Glucosamine, found in many tissues and secretions, is the basic building block in the biosynthesis of compounds that require amino sugars. This makes glucosamine essential to cell membranes, structural molecules, and, most importantly for joint health, the proteoglycans which make up connective tissue.
